By a wide margin this project was my greatest accomplishment. I have little to say on the front of things that I would change if I were given the same amount of time, safe for a few extra white pixels left on the right side of my little gifs. I've watched quite a few folks click through my quiz, and I'm happy to say the usually enjoy it quite a bit, with the quiz eliciting the reactions I wanted. Even further, I feel I was successful at capturing a unified aesthetic, something I constantly strive for in my work but I never have felt I've been successful at doing. This striving for a unified aesthetic has also been the reason I tend to stick to monochrome aesthetics; I'm unskilled at color drawing, and I want my drawings (generally) to fit in with everything else.
I think the final screen captures well what I feel I accomplished well.
I love the layout of information and feel text flows well. I love the eyes I made for the narrator (a look that in retrospect is undoubtedly subconsciously inspired by Dario Argento's Suspiria, one of my favorite horror movies). I love the little guys I made at the end, with their gif nature giving them just enough life to make leaving them cruel.
If I had more time to work on the project, I would've certainly given the player more choices, giving the character more opportunities to converse with the controller of the quiz and more options for customizing your little guy at the end, but, given the time, I feel I did well enough.
