I adore character design, so when I heard of this project I immediately began trying to find an appealing design to center my animation around a projection of my consciousness, whether that be my brain or my soul. I decided to combine the two, taking notes from the classic "spoopy" ghost and one of my favorite X-MEN, Glob Herman, who's transparent eyeballs floating in goop would work fantastic for a brain-ghost. I also generally have a love for rotoscoping, with much of my love of the process originating from the Ralph Bakshi Lord of the Rings movies, which, while terrible, featured some fantastic rotoscoping. I want to capture an "aging up" transition a la saving private ryan. I want to do a twist on the whole "seize the day" concept by having someone seize the day and just fail, for comedic effect.
